"Devin Shaw is a 27-year-old landscape and wildlife photographer with a deep connection to the natural world. Born in Toronto, he has lived and worked in various locations throughout his photographic career, including two years in Southern Georgian Bay, one year in Killarney Provincial Park, and two and a half years in Jasper National Park. Devin’s photography journey began with urban landscapes before evolving toward a focus on natural scenery and geological features. This shift was driven by a profound spiritual connection with North America’s landscapes. His work aims to capture the world in a way that is both humble and thought-provoking. He continuously refines his approach to interpreting his subjects. Jasper remains one of Devin’s favourite places to practice photography. Its vast and dynamic landscapes provide endless inspiration, particularly in the realm of landscape photography."

As I write this "about me", I wonder how to describe my work. If I could boil it down, I would call myself a photographer, explorer, and storyteller with a passion for showcasing the world through my various portfolios. My photograpy has been featured by outlets such as Canadian Geographic and The Weather Network, as well as organizations such as Georgian Bay General Hospital, Ontario Parks, Friends of Killarney Park, Friends of Jasper National Park, the Jasper Artists Guild and Parks Canada, among others. My work hangs on walls from major hotels to residential bathrooms, and is seen on screens (mostly on instagram) across the globe. Whether it's the impressive scale of the Canadian Rockies, the charming grandeur of the American South-West, or a forest floor filled with Dogwoods, I strive to make images that inspire wonder and connection to all places, near and far.
Every place and person has a story to tell, and with acute composition, I aim to share those narratives—whether through a single image, video, or guided hike with friends.
