Jasper National Park
For over three years of my life, I lived, worked, and grew as a human in Jasper National Park. To say Jasper holds a unique place in my heart would be putting it lightly. Jasper became not just my home, but my base of operations, serving as a home base for my trips into nearby British Columbia and south, to the United States.
I continue to visit Jasper after that fateful summer, and it still amazes me when that first break of dawn light graces Mt. Edith Cavell, or when the Elk herd their calves across the highway. Every time I turn up that hill under the train tracks and begin the drive down Connaught, it truly feels like I’ve come home and that the day will bring a new and exciting adventure.
